International Men’s Day at FCMS

This International Men’s Day, we wanted to highlight positive role models and shine a light on men’s mental health and wellbeing.

Lee McGlynn Chief Operating Officer at FCMS wanted to provide dedicated time and space for our male colleagues to reflect on what challenges they face daily, how this can impact their mental health and discuss ways in which they are able to overcome them.

Today we were fortunate to host spoken poet and public speaker Nathan Parker. His wonderful and unique methods of using poetry provided those in attendance with a fascinating insight into how we can combat negative thoughts and feelings.

The overall feeling is that the session was an absolute success with one attendee stating it was a “Street style delivery of a sensitive subject”.
