Accessible Information Standard

FCMS adheres to NHS England’s guidance on the Accessible Information Standard. This ensures people who have a disability, impairment, or sensory loss are able to get information that they can access and understand

The Accessible Information Standard applies to all providers of NHS care or treatment, and FCMS has implemented this standard across all of our services. The standard extends to individuals who have information and/or communication support needs that are related to or caused by a disability, impairment or sensory loss

The standard also applies to individuals who have a learning disability and people who have other ‘communication disabilities’. Where appropriate this standard also applies to carers and parents

You can find out more about the Accessible Information Standard below

And if you have any questions you can get in touch with us via the webform: www.fcms-nw.co.uk/contact, by phone 01253 951345, by email: [email protected], or by using the details on any appointment letter to get through to the relevant team
