Suzy Layton
Chief Executive
I’m Suzy, I’m not into titles in particular, I am happy with just Suzy, but if you had to define me, I’m the CEO, who has done every back of house job in the organisation over the past three decades.
I see my role as ensuring the culture of our organisation stays strong, focused and relevant to all generations while we grow in size and depth. We keep our colleagues and communities at the core of everything that we do and do it with energy and compassion.
Outside work, I sail, tiny weeny dinghies but have a bonkers dream to achieve by 2025.
Lee McGlynn
Deputy Chief Executive
I found my spiritual home in FCMS in 2006 and have not stopped enjoying myself since!!
I have shed loads of experience in developing and delivering services of all sizes, mostly in the community/primary care, but what excites me most is the stuff we are yet to do… love developing people, love innovation, love asking why!
Kids, Wife, MUFC (in that order!).
Sarah Hart
Director of People & Wellbeing
I believe people are at the heart of all we do. People, relationships and compassion are my reason for being at FCMS since I started in 2009 when we had 75 employees. When people have a career from anywhere between 1994 – 2094, I want to make the middle bit, the ‘ – ‘ in their career really count.
My role encompasses responsibility for everything people related from finding amazing talent, supporting the start of a colleague’s journey with FCMS and being a part of people’s lives along the journey. I deeply care about our team and strive to enhance who we are and what we’re here to cause. This is usually supported with a hug, a chat or sometimes talking about hard stuff in really deep but rewarding conversations.

Kelly Mason

I joined FCMS in 2017 as Head of Finance and became Director of Finance in 2020. I have 22 year’s experience in Finance in the Hospitality and Healthcare sectors with 14 years as a Chartered Management Accountant.
The commonality is people centred industries – I love the culture of FCMS and enjoy the diversity of the role alongside being part of a Social Enterprise which really does put patients and our staff at the heart of what we do.
Married to Andy, we have two fabulous children who keep me as busy as my day job!
Philip Smyth

My experience spans private industry and public and third sectors in a variety of general management and board positions. For most of my career, I have been in the toiletries and food industries but have gravitated in the last 15 years to health and social care.
