The ethos of FCMS as a ‘not for profit’ health and wellbeing services provider is to be passionate in its drive to ensure that patients and callers remain the central focus of all that it does. Coupled with excellent and well established clinical governance systems and extremely effective operational expertise, it has meant that the company has the ability to strategically visualise, develop, and implement award winning services.

Over many years we have invested in our staff so that we have a core team of highly trained individuals who can manage the needs of our patients and callers.  Our staff are able to significantly improve the service delivery and user experience due to their considerable experience and commitment to what they do.

* Fleetwood Home Visiting pilot goes live


* Awarded Doncaster Urgent Care Service
* NHS 111 - Contract with NWAS goes live
* Oncology Helpline pilot


* Drug and Substance Misuse Administration Service went live
* Began to operate face to face assessments of patients attending BVH A&E Department
* Successful in bid to provide 111 services across the North West
* 20 Year Anniversary


* Preferred provider to deliver national call handling for The Silver Line Service
* Stability Partner for NHS 111


* Pilot provider of The Silver Line Service


* Starting delivering 111 call handling service using NHS Pathways.


* Began to manage and Deliver Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Urgent Care Centre


* CHC (now part of PDS medical) won Equitable access to Primary Care services in Fleetwood and Morecambe


* PDS Medical began delivering primary care based echocardiology service across 2 Fylde Coast Practices


* Won National Health and Social Care Award for Emergency Care


* Began to develop a multi-disciplinary clinical team with GPs, nurses, dentists, paramedics, mental health nurses and social workers


* Moved to the Out of Hours Primary Care Centre at 88 Whitegate Drive, Blackpool


* Began developing computerised patient clinical records


* A surgery based service became operational using Dermatology Out-patient facilities at Devonshire Rd.


* 21st December 1994 - Commenced as GP Co-operative across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. Purely a GP home visiting service. Devonshire Road Hospital used as an operational base.
